Banoffee Cups

Banoffee Cups

About 8 (quantities are approximate, depending on the size of the cups and the taste of whom are assembling the dessert)

1 pack of cinnamon cookies

1 can of condensed milk

2/3 ripe bananas

400 ml of heavy/double cream (cold enough to whip)

2 tablespoons light brown sugar

Dark chocolate shavings

Crumble two cookies directly into each cup.

Open the can of condensed milk and stir with a spoon before distributing the cream among the cups.

Peel and slice the bananas, spreading the slices among the cups, over the condensed milk.

Whip the cream with the sugar until it becomes ‘chantilly’.

If using relatively narrow glasses, put the whipped cream in a pastry bag or clean freezer bag and swirl it among the glasses. Alternatively, use a spoon.

Finish with some cinnamon cookies small crumbs and chocolate shavings.

If not serving immediately, keep the cups in the fridge.
